The 2005 GMC Jimmy is designed with a rigid chassis and front and rear crumple zones to help protect occupants in an accident. But Jimmy also comes standard-equipped with features that help you avoid a collision.
Jimmy features standard dual front air bags. In addition, three-point safety belts are standard for the front occupants and the two outboard rear occupants. The center rear occupant has a two-point belt.
The standard four-wheel antilock disc brake system helps you maintain steering control even when applying maximum braking-effort.
